She has delivered professional development sessions to schools, consulted with teachers, and worked alongside the Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta to update the Reading Readiness Screening Tool (RRST) as well as the Right to Read course.

Kaitlyn found her passion for helping children with dyslexia after her two sons were diagnosed several years ago. “Literacy Unlocked came recommended to us by our daughter’s school, she had been struggling with spelling and writing assignments.  With Kaitlyn’s tutoring, our daughter improved in a number of literacy skills.  We have seen her become more confident and the quality of her school work has improved.  Both of our children now have been able to work with Kaitlyn.  Her method and approach with students makes it easier for parents to practice literacy skills at home, without a struggle.
